Hammer powder coating may not be considered new or unique, but a true hammertone product line that understands the issues and/or problems historical hammertones have caused, is in fact, very unique.
Developed for use over various substrates including steel and aluminium on interior applications Examples include: interior furniture and storage equipment, electrical cabinets other industrial metal products such as bicycles, garden tools, lawn mowers, and automotive components. Consult Dulux for the most appropriate Surreal Effects product for your end use.
To create a hammer powder coating it must be formulated with a base coating that has a unique reaction when exposed to radiant or convection heat, which creates a hammered effect. This is where most hammertones fall short - neglecting to consider the application window for the powder coater. Powder New takes the next step and assures the broadest application window, giving the coater the most robust hammertones available. While these challenges still exist, Powder New keeps them to a minimum, making a more consistent finished product day in and day out. Hammer powder coating may not be considered new or unique, but a true hammertone product line that understands the issues and/or problems historical hammertones have caused, is in fact, very unique.
